Every character had trouble communicating in some way. Wahlberg couldn't get connected with his wife, she couldn't get "joey" on the phone, Leguizamo couldn't reach his wife, etc etc Then at the end when they start talking, really talking, that's when it all stops. It seemed to me like it was meant to be a higher power or something...I could be wrong! After hearing that though, I did change my opinion about the film.
